Shower Water Catcher

(U.S. Patent No. 11,186,969). The Shower Water Catcher makes reducing household water-waste practical, easy and convenient every time a person showers. The system includes a water catch-tray that mounts on the interior shower wall and push-on drain tube extensions that connect and channel captured water into a suitable holding container, such as a bucket. The Shower Water Catcher reduces water-waste by catching cold startup shower water and shower water that continues to run during idle times such as shaving and shampooing before it hits the shower floor. The Shower Water Catcher funnels this water into a suitable container for later repurposing.  To catch unused shower water during the described idle times, simply aim the shower head toward the water catch tray. The showerhead water spray remains open to touch, allowing the user to feel and adjust the water temperature to a personal level of comfort before aiming the showerhead toward themselves to shower. The captured water can be repurposed for watering indoor plants, flushing toilets, prefilling a clothes washing machine, and many other uses. This water would otherwise go down the shower drain wasted. The catch tray and holding bucket remain in the shower unit while in use or not. This convenience helps to create a routine of catching and repurposing water which reduces water usage.

Product Dimensions: The funnel is 14in wide x 12in height x 3in deep without drain tubes. The drain tube and elbow are 3/8in OD pipe.
